Infection Protection Measures
Please note: Visiting the Jewish Museum and the Museum Judengasse is only possible with a proof of vaccination and a negative COVID-19 viral test (antigen/lateral flow or PCR test, no self test) taken on the day they visit. Visitors who have had the booster shot are exempt from testing. This applies to the museum visit as well as to the participation in all guided tours and events on the museum premises. Pupils only have to bring a negative test.
Please wear a mask covering mouth and nose during your visit and observe the usual recommended minimum distance from other people. Please observe the hygiene plan that we have drawn up in consultation with the public health department.
Our public library is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Here you will find specialized literature as well as children's and youth literature on the history, religion and culture of Judaism. Museum visitors are welcome to stay in our comfortable reading room. You can also visit our library without a museum ticket.
The Jewish Museum's "Lichtbau" houses the Museum Shop, operated by the Literaturehandlung. Here you will find Jewish Museum publications and exhibition catalogs, exciting literature on Jewish topics, merchandise and Judaica.
