The consequences of the Shoah shaped Jewish life in post-war Germany. The anti-Semitism in the newly founded Federal Republic of Germany clearly revealed that National Socialist convictions did not die out with Hitler. Personal perspectives and stories bring to life recent Jewish history in Frankfurt and its significance for the present era. Twenty Frankfurt Jews describe their impressions of the respective time and offer insights into their current situation.
An additional topic is the Jewish perspective on hatred of Jews since the end of the nineteenth century. The focus here is on the reactions and resistance from the Jewish side. The tour presents the biographies of individuals who were able to flee in time, put up resistance, and/or were murdered.
Costs:
Group tour (90 min.): 90 euros plus reduced admission price of 6 euros per person;
Group tour (60 min.): 75 euros plus reduced admission price of 6 euros p.p.
