There are still more than 2,000 tombstones standing in the Jewish cemetery in Battonnstrasse – one of the most important Jewish cemeteries in Europe and one of the oldest monuments in Frankfurt’s cultural history. The reasons why it is still visited today by Jews from all over the world is one of the tour's topics, as are burial customs and the enigmatic images on the tombstones. The tour is available in German, English, French and Modern Hebrew
